Yep, we are officially certified from the National Wildlife Federation as a Wildlife Habitat! We want to get certified through the state of Texas now, but that's ALOT more work, so a cataloging I go! Our goals are to encourage wildlife habitats in our neighborhood as it's better for the environment and for the beauty of the area, not to mention the amazing amounts of wildlife we have attracted. They are happy creatures and it makes us feel good to be contributing and teaching our kids the importance of creating such environments in this world over-run with concrete.
